Our goal is to pass on our passion for catching giant Copper River King (Chinook) and Red (Sockeye) salmon. Our Alaska fishing charters are guided Copper River fishing trips on the Klutina River, the Gulkana River and the Tonsina River. Come join us for the best salmon fishing in Alaska while we explore miles of beautiful wilderness, chasing Alaska’s wild and most famous Copper River Salmon. We fish in the Copper Center area of Alaska, located only 3 hours from Anchorage on the Glenn Highwy, 4 hours from Fairbanks on the Richardson Highway, and 1.5 hours from Valdez on the Richardson, just over Thompson pass. It is important to note that the Copper River salmon fishery is the closest open sports fish salmon fishery to Fairbanks, Alaska for Fairbanks fishing, and also the closest open King Salmon fishery to Anchorage, Alaska for Anchorage fishing charters.

Here at AK Fish Charters we offer a unique personal experience. We are not a large company with the main goal of filling as many seats possible, or flooding the river with as many fisherman as we can. Your guide Trevor is focused on safe, responsible, quality fishing trips on remote rivers in the Copper river basin of Alaska.
Ak Fish Charters is offering 8 hour day trips on the beautiful Gulkana and Klutina Rivers. We will be targeting king salmon and sockeye salmon on both rivers.
AK Fish Charters
Gulkana River Full Day 8 Hour Float Trip
On all of our trips we provide the guide, life jackets, fishing gear, hip waders, and snacks/drinks. All you need to bring is a fishing license with king stamp, rain gear, and a smile!
Klutina River Full Day 8 Hour Float Trip
Your guide will process your fish at the end of the trip and direct you to where you can take them to have them shipped home if you like.
